INSTALLING GOOGLE CHROME FOR THE WEB 2.0 WORKSHOP #2
Follow these steps to Install Google Chrome onto your laptop:
1. Click the blue "Download Google Chrome" button below, or follow this link.
2. On the next page, uncheck the "Set Google Chrome as my default browser" box, then click "Accept and Install". The Google Chrome install file will download and then run. You may be prompted by your computer to accept or authorise this action once or twice during the brief installation process.
3. Google Chrome will open after it has been installed and you will have the option to import all your bookmarks and settings from Internet Explorer into Google Chrome (which is probably a good thing to do).
4. You're set and ready for the workshop!
After the workshop if you want to reverse this installation, again it only takes a minute or two and is very simple. I'll be able to help if you wish. However I think you might find you like Google Chrome as an alternative browser to Internet Explorer.
